Black screen after installing Kali Linux 2.0 (32bit) with cursor?

After installing Kali Linux 2.0 (32bit) on a VMware virtual machine, does the following happen?
Help me solve the problem, I will be grateful :) Here is the actual screenshot:

Try running with nosplash acpi=off instead of quite splash. Or try adding nomodeset after quite splash
