. everyone knows the pros and cons of this, please share your accumulated experience of those who work with this at the moment!

dnsbl-1.uceprotect.net
zen.spamhaus.org
bl.spamcop.net
dnsbl.sorbs.net
what do you mean by adequate bl? After all, it's not enough to write a blocklist into the filter - many of them have certain return codes, such as spamhouse or sorbs, without delving into which you can easily get an "inadequate" blocklist.
