Behringer umc202hd audio card connects and disconnects, what should I do?
Let's start in order. I bought myself the above-mentioned card, factory, not used. I downloaded firewood from the office. site, installed. At the first connection, the PC did not see the card. Started experimenting with usb ports. Only 2 worked, but there's a catch. The card gets stuck in a constant disconnection and connection (and in one port this happens with a greater frequency, and in the other with less). In Device Manager, the card appears as two devices: BEHRINGER UMC202HD 192k Subdevice and UMC202HD 192k, but no drivers are detected. I tried to update the drivers through the device manager (updated manually, specifying the folder where the installer downloaded everything from the behringer website). If you update the first one, it gives an error: the driver could not be found. The second accepts these drivers, even goes into the "Sound, game and video devices" column. However, this does not solve the connection / disconnection problem. In the connected device tracking program that came with the drivers, the card also appears and disappears.
Tried to connect to another computer, everything worked with a bang. Tried starting Windows in safe mode. Tried to put another, new PSU, nothing changed. By the way, an important addition - when the card is connected to any port (!!!!), the POWER light is on, and it is stable. Could it be a problem with my USBs? Lack of power, or some kind of error / breakdown? Asus prime x470 pro board, with latest drivers. Windows 10.
Looked at the manual of the board. All connectors that didn't work were USB 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5Gbps). The ones where the card is buggy are USB 3.1 Gen 2 (up to 10Gbps). Interestingly, on the PC where the card functioned normally, it was USB 3.1 Gen 1. It turns out very interesting ...
Today I reinstalled Windows, updated to the latest BIOS version ... Bullshit.

ATTENTION!!! Issue resolved! Connected through a regular USB hub, without power. Apparently heaped 3.1 USB do not directly recognize the USB 2.0 card. Thanks to everybody, you're free!
