Because of what, an application shortcut may not be created in the Android 4.0.4 menu?

The application is being tested on two devices:

• Sony xperia Z2(Android 5.0.2)
  
• Epson moverio-bt100 virtual reality glasses (Android 4.0.4).
  

In the previous release of the application, everything was fine.
In the current release, several activities have been added and minor corrections have been made to the logic.
Everything works fine on the phone, but the application shortcut is not created on the glasses (it is not found anywhere except in the application manager).
No changes have been made that could affect this.
Can you please tell me what it can be connected with or at least in which direction to look?
