Bcc and Gmail smtp!?
Something in my pot stopped cooking, apparently.
There is a letter sent from the script via SMTP Googlemail. The letter has a heading Bcc. All my previous experience, RFC 2822, and the name of the header itself, suggests that the recipient should not know to whom the copy was sent. However, the header gets to the recipient safe and sound. The question arises - with what fright and how to deal with it!?
Certainly. the problem could be solved by abandoning smtp Gmail, but for a number of reasons this option is not yet considered. Maybe you need to tweak something in the settings of your Google account? Or is there some other magic that will make Googlemail respect the RFC requirements?
Thanks in advance.

When transmitted over SMTP, the BCC header should not be present. The addresses to which you want to send a blind copy must be in the SMTP envelope (ie present in RCPT TO: commands) but not in RFC 822 headers. The Bcc header is used in mail programs before sending the message via SMTP, it is not necessary to send it via SMTP.
