If you delete a letter from the mail, will the recipient keep it?

The question is probably a little stupid, but I want to be 100% sure to avoid fails. The bottom line is that for some reason I have to send files by mail (I don’t offer alternatives, I myself know, there are just situations in which you need to do this), which can weigh quite a lot. Each mailbox, in my case Gmail, has a limit. So, after sending letters with files, if I delete them from myself, will they definitely remain with the recipient?

Here it is thinking, instead of sending it from GMail to Yandex, and then deleting it on GMail and checking it on Yandex, a person wrote a question =)
