Is it possible, without distracting remote computer users through TeamViewer with minimal use of third-party software, to collect data on the "hardware" of remote computers for centralized storage?

Only if you throw something like Everest there, run it from the command line (or prepare a self-extracting archive with autorun in advance) with the parameters for sending a report to @. Team Weaver himself does not know how.
Judging by your answers, only 2 solutions come to mind, but they are not PS
1) There is such a utility FreePCAudit from misutilities.com . Run it and ask users to upload the saved text file. (fortunately there is only one button)
2) If all computers have Internet access, you can deploy OCSinventary and put agents on client computers. Takes 2-3 minutes maximum. After the server is put on the Internet and they will add all the information automatically to it. If there is uncontrolled access using PStools, then you can deploy from DeploymentTools without the user noticing.
