background-image interpolation in chrome

When zooming (for example, at 400%), Chrome strangely interpolates graphics inserted through css background-image - in different layers in different ways.

noticed that this is affected in a strange way by the background-repeat parameter, and if the width of the image fragment matches the width of the block, then the interpolation is bicubic, otherwise by neighboring pixels.

In which direction should I dig? I'm aware of the device-pixel-ratio, but the same situation occurs when zooming to 110%.

The question, in principle, is the strange behavior of Chrome when scaling, for example, on the Yandex main page at a scale of 110%, it can be seen that Chrome “tears” compound buttons and interpolates parts of the image in different ways:
