Autonomous wi-fi camera in a room without electricity and a tamper sensor and. Really?
Hello!
My problem is this:
there is a pantry on the site. There is no electricity and it is impossible to carry out.
all I can do is to finish it off with my wi-fi.
What you need: So that I know that someone wants to break in there, and preferably also see it.
What I want: a camera with a motion sensor, which would begin to fully work only after the reaction of the motion sensor, and send a notification about this to the smartphone, but she herself began to write. Naturally, it should always be possible to watch online from smart (but there seems to be no problem with this feature).
What's the problem: It's all about nutrition. You can put a battery in and power the camera, but this is barely enough for a day (the camera's consumption is from 0.5 to 1 A).
Options:optimally would have the following functionality. A tamper sensor is installed. The camera is in standby mode and consumes a miser (or turned off completely). The sensor is triggered - the camera starts working.
This is something like SmartHome fashionable now in all their variations, but I did not find such a scenario for myself.
Ask for guru advice. Or according to the system, or how to make the camera feed for as long as possible (batteries from KAMAZ are not considered).

The option without food is not an option. For many reasons:
Conclusion - drill a hole and run a wire, immediately turn with PoE. People are looking for hemorrhoids, where it is not necessary to look for it. Often in the stairwell you can be powered from a shield or light, negotiate with a neighbor, etc. Half a day to connect, so as not to run with Akum for years ... The choice is obvious.
Otherwise, this is all an invention of personal hemorrhoids.
Turn off WiFi and look towards used equipment. (the new one will be expensive and, for obvious reasons, is not available to you)
There are ready-made kits for autonomous video surveillance. Suitcase with built-in recorder and batteries. The stock is enough for 4-6 days. (I have one for 4 cameras, food for 4 days) They are usually used by special services, so new ones are classified as special equipment, and it’s really possible to get an analog used set for inexpensively. Doing it yourself is more expensive.
thanks for the option, but it's a little low-budget and difficult to implement in my case)
camera loading time, yes, this is a problem.
