Auto-testing (QA Automation) which tool to choose (Python, Java, C#)?

Good evening colleagues! A friend asks for advice, but I don’t know about it, so I’ll redirect the question here, tell me what you can, and I’ll send her a link to the answers:
--- I went to testing courses, I really like everything, there will be a second part soon, auto-testing in Ruby , but it's somehow strange, everywhere auto-testers with knowledge of Java, Python or C # are required, and here is Ruby? And which PL do you think is better to study for auto-testing now, or is it better to go for Ruby? ---
Thank you!

1. No one has ever been harmed by Rubey. If there is an opportunity to go - why not?
2. What are we talking about testing: desktop, web, mobile, hardware ..?
3. A comment about the fact that different companies have different development environments and, therefore, need a tester with the appropriate language. So don't guess for sure.
4. Another comment about the fact that it is more important to be able to program, and the language is the second question.
In general, although I’m more into C #, I’ll say that since there is an opportunity to go, well, cut, let it go. And also Java. Quite a good set. And you will need C # - knowledge of Java will greatly help to figure out what's what. You will need a python - well, they say that python and ruby are not so diametrically opposed.

Alas, Python and Ruby are very, very different. Much stronger than Java and C#.
I personally saw vacancies for automation testers with knowledge of Ruby, Rspec, Capybara... so you shouldn't worry about it. For me, IMHO, you need to know two languages - one is as advanced, powerful ... like Java or C # and the second is scripted for solving quick tasks - for me, Groovy became such a language
