Auto stop torrent in transmission?

I have such a problem. An external usb drive will sometimes unmount due to lack of power.
This disk writes transmission downloads. How to do it so that if suddenly the disk is unmounted, it stops downloading there. And then one day I found a clogged / mnt at the root and an unmounted usb disk.

How would you do that

1. Buy a normal drive.
2. Use a normal USB hub.
