Authorization via social networks, how to link accounts?

For example, in the database there is a manually registered user with email [email protected], if during authorization through uLogin the email matches the existing one, in this case, link the social network to the existing account or display an error?
Is it worth linking several social networks to 1 account, provided that the email matches?
In all cases, the ownership of the email will be checked.

In my projects, I refused to bind more than 1 network. Users do not remember through which network they registered and make several accounts. It is not comfortable. In my case it is Modx (HybridAuth).
