I'm going to buy a laptop. There is information that the OS can only be reinstalled if I update the BIOS. Is the information correct? Has anyone faced this issue?

Hearing feet apparently grow out of the Secure Boot.
You either need to disable it or add your own keys.
If the manufacturer makes an unswitchable Secure Boot, then it’s very real.
