Does the abundance of installed programs affect the operation of the system?

For example, I have installed about 10 programs with which I constantly work + every little thing, a local server and some popular game
All software is licensed / popular open-source and without any advertising garbage like Yandex / amigo / etc ...
Worth it Are you worried that one of these programs will interfere with the performance of the other and lead to errors? I just stumbled across a few articles about the potential for cluttering up the Windows registry and improper uninstallation of programs (i.e. with the rest of any settings / cache files), and now I'm trying to find out in order to dispel my doubts about this.

It depends on the programs. Some leave almost no traces in the system and do not affect its operation. Some integrate deeply, but also do not interfere. And some, like a cancerous tumor - a painful growth that kills the body and metastasizes to all its departments. Therefore, software must be selected carefully and excessive integration into the system should be avoided. Personally, I really like software that can be downloaded in a simple archive and used without installation.

because The desktop version of Windows has more statistics, and novice IT people often use regcleners. The answer to your question is yes!
My personal opinion is that you need to feel your working system, I often use Ctrl + Shift + Esc.
Errors are allowed between software and incompatibilities. Known about Antivirus or GPU drivers, when installing new ones I often use a clean installation, straight from the installation wizard.
Perhaps the lack of portable.
There is also a bug at the hardware level that one software can use the memory area of another software.
ps I correlate the answer, nothing is said what kind of OS?
