Attaching images in Mail on Mac OS X Lion?

I can’t figure out how to attach pictures to the letter so that they are sent in their original size and quality, for some reason it reduces them according to an incomprehensible principle, and puts them in the body of the letter.
How to make them attach like on gmail or outlook?

If you have Lion, then there will be problems with mail and attaching pictures. We called their tech support.
And after updating the poppies in our office, connections to some printers fell off.
