This is how the fonts are connected.

This is what the fonts look like (page highlighted). What could be the problem? Lato downloaded with Cyrillic support and made them for the web using web-font-generator.

Check the css.. maybe the colors match the background.
Try to write something in English, numbers, etc.
In any case, if the font does not work, then the standard one is connected.
