At what point can you start considering a cart abandoned?

E-shop, self-written. Basket. I'm trying to determine the approximate moment when it can be considered abandoned.

In shopify, for example, it starts to be considered abandoned from the moment the user entered his soap during the checkout. But, this is wrong, because there is still ahead to enter the delivery method and then pay, where the user can stay for at least 10 minutes.

Or then the user may change his mind altogether and (!) start wandering around the store again and put something in, remove something from the basket. Then he will go to another site to read reviews about the product, and again an hour will pass. And in the admin panel in shopify, it has long been shown as abandoned.

So, from a developer's point of view, whencan I start to consider the basket abandoned?

PS

There are a lot of developers here, who in their life did not work anywhere except for the office for their uncle, do not have enough convolutions to figure out that there can be one person on the project. Generally. He is both a customer and a performer, and an uncle-chef, and a manager.

I twist my finger at my temple. Shkolot.

From a developer's point of view

The point of view of the developer in this matter is not important. There are requirements for the store, and it should be described when the cart is considered abandoned.
