Asuswrt-merlin how to do host spoofing?

There is a piece of iron on asuswrt-merlin, access via ssh is organized, on the piece of iron there is a jffs partition available for writing.
I want that when requesting name.com from a local network host, requests go to the desired ip in the external network. I don’t want to do a substitution through an intermediate external dns server, I don’t have my own internal one. I would like to solve the means of the router, if possible.

@EVMI

openwrt can do dnsmasq, which does this at once.
