ASUS K52JT and wifi

Good afternoon.

There is this device and wifi tariff from the beeline. If it clings to the network, then with a huge creak, most often it gives out "Windows did not master the connection." When you run the diagnostic tools, it gives a problem with the network adapter. At the same time, firewood for the network is official (from the asus website). The problem is not in the level of reception (on average - 4 or 3 sticks out of five).

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Systems: W7 Ult 32 and Linux Mint 10.

I think you should first determine the problem in the laptop, or in the modem from the beeline. Do you have another computer on which to check?
And there may also be a problem that the nearest receiver is either far away, or vice versa - too close (if it is on the wall of the same house where you are, then there may be problems). did not try to walk along the street with a laptop, is there a difference (if you walked of course)?

And you're in vain connected to them. How many of these networks I have seen - I could only connect to 10%. And I have more than one device (IBMka, asus u35jc, toshiba ac-100, Zeus, an old communicator on WM - the story is always the same). Logs look lazy.

Perhaps the “striped” access point closest to you is simply lying or buggy ... Try to find where there is another access point and connect. We have 11 routers at the university, a couple of them periodically lag, so there, like the Bermuda Triangle - anomalies!
