After resetting the settings on the Asus vw222s monitor, the image is stretched only at a very small for its max. permissions. How to fix?

Unfortunately there is no auto button. The image is stretched only at a small resolution for a monitor of 1280x768, before it was stretched at a resolution of 1440x900. The maximum resolution is 1680x1050 and the image is not stretched with it either. The monitor is connected to a laptop. The problem occurred after resetting the settings on the monitor.
