Asterisk and users of the web portal and mobile application to it. How?

There is a corporate portal with self-registration of users. There was a need to enable portal users to call each other from the page, as well as from the mobile application.
Please provide an implementation plan. That is, how (in general terms) to configure an asterisk?
Should it be something like automatic registration on the asterisk of a newly created portal user? Or link the asterisk to the portal database and build a dilplan from there?
How, for example, is this implemented in VK?

Asterisk has a realtime mode ( https://asterisk-pbx.ru/wiki/artikle/mysql_realtime), when configs are stored in the database and automatically applied. For example, after creating a user on the portal, you can automatically start it in the asterisk through a script that will simply execute a sql query.
To call from a page via asterisk, you need webrtc ( https://voxlink.ru/kb/asterisk-configuration/nastr... but the thing is not the easiest to implement.
