Ask for help with literature related to information security?

Soon I’m in the 9th grade and I would like to take a prize in the Olympiad in Information Security, so I’m learning the C language, but I still can’t understand the essence of the tasks and how to solve them (screenshot of an example task)

The task you cited is more of a task for analyzing the source code, and IS is far-fetched here and simply sets the context (accounts, passwords, hash) in which the source codes of the program are considered. Literature on information security for solving such problems will not help you in any way. Rather, reference books and manuals on programming in C or Pascal will help.
