Article about layer structure in PSD

I’ve already told designers more than once… GROUP LAYERS IN FOLDERS… either they don’t understand how, or they don’t want to. Is there an article that can tell them how to do it in simple terms?

They don’t want to - the article can explain, but most likely it will not help in the situation.
Faced it myself. Usually the logic is that it's faster without groupings and human layer names, but as soon as the .PSD is ready, it seems like you don't want to touch it anymore.
Option to consider the work unfinished without groupings.
PS
Sorry for being a bit offtopic and without a link.

Hmm... well, actually, this is one of the indicators of the designer's professionalism, convenience for himself and respect for those who will come across this layout later.
I sometimes spend the whole day clearing out piles of garbage, renaming, stuffing layers into folders and marking them with different colors, before sending the source files on further voyage.

Try to describe your vision to them in any way that is more convenient for you, for example, highlight something with caps, write everything in English or transliteration, make your manual as you like. You can even put it on Habré, everyone will appreciate and supplement it :)

I can't work without grouping at all. You get confused, you get confused in them, and then you redo everything swearing loudly)
