Scanning
Semyon Semyonov, 2015-03-10 18:55:12

Are you familiar with scanning technologies to transfer to a web page?

You have a scanner in your hand (manual). You press the scan button and the image is transferred to the web page.
Has anyone seen such implementations? It doesn’t matter what, the main thing is to understand at least how it works. Only websockets come to mind. Those. the scanner makes a picture, it flies to the server, and through websockets we check the presence of the image in some directory. If something appeared, then upload and show on the page itself.
But it's a crutch. Does anyone know of any other options?

We connect to ftp through the explorer and select this path as a place to save the scans, then with additional software (autoren for example) we give the names 1, 2, 3 for convenience ... And we display it in our favorite programming language through a loop.

Did you get something?
The browser scan solution seems ideal,
but everything I tested was either very expensive or very buggy.
There are a couple of links here: A tool that will allow you to scan from the browser
I myself tend to a crutch like saving to ftp, since activeX implies IE, which does not meet other requirements, and paying 500+ dollars is too expensive, and there are a lot of compatibility restrictions, but number of copies, paid updates, etc.
