Are there significant differences between .NET Core v1 and .NET Core v2?

I want to buy an ASP.NET Core MVC book with C# examples for professionals, but there, as I understand it, version 1 is being discussed. Does it make sense to buy this book when you already have .NET Core version 2?
Here I found: What's new in ASP.NET Core 2.0
By the way, I found very useful information not only on .NET Core (it is also there)
Documentation on .NET (some of the information is in Russian ...

People bought the book. The book is fire! Worth the money!
I tried to learn ASP.NET Core MVC on one site where all the components are signed, but there is such a presentation, I barely read a few chapters, it was hard to read. You are constantly distracted when you read on your computer. And as soon as I bought the book, everything fell into place, you read and make examples. Everything is clear, convenient and understandable.

The pace of ASP.Net Core development is crazy. From 1.0 to 2.0 per year. When the 2.0 book comes out, there will already be 3.0 on the horizon. or buy a book, or learn from off-line documentation.
