Are there ready-made solutions for generating reports from the database?

We use the Request Tracker to track requests and hours worked. The data is stored in MySQL. Now there is a large sheet of SQL query, which is actually used as a report. Lately, it has become extremely difficult to finish it. Hence the question: are there any systems that can be given a flat table / tables with data as input, and within the system already set up groupings, joins, summations?
