I am looking for RC cars with 18650 batteries. I changed the battery and drive on.

In radio-controlled models, 18650 is not particularly favored, it happens, of course, but not very often.
With a high probability, you will purchase a model on li-po / li-ion, like this (603562/102560 etc)
If you take it on "batteries", then in principle nothing prevents you from converting it to whatever you want, but the issue of appearance.
So either take a model designed for li-po / li-ion right away or mess with blue electrical tape and a little soldering iron)

Why these batteries? For models, batteries are usually connected through a connector as in the photo above, you can change and go further
