Are there printers with their own authorization?
Good afternoon!
Set the task to configure the "guest" printer. People come with their laptops, cling to the guest Wi-Fi and should be able to print. You need to keep track of who and how many pages printed. It makes no sense to bind to the username\computer name. they are easy to change on the device. No software can be installed on the end equipment (except perhaps drivers). Laptops can also be different (win\mac\unix).
Hence the question, are there any printers that can allow printing only after authorization (for example, via the web interface)?

Your task, probably, can be solved through CUPS + self-written billing + self-written web muzzle to muzzle cups
