Perhaps there are plugins that do their job well and it is preferable to install this plugin than to try to manually solve this problem yourself?
What plugins do you need to pay attention to when writing a Russian-language site on WordPress?
Or is it worth thinking about plugins only when there is nowhere without them?

Probably only 2 are SEO Yoast & Cyr 2 Lat Enc.
The rest depends on the tasks and functionality. Blogs, portals, shops, business cards - require different plugins.
