Are there no clouds (Cloud servers) with several DCs all over Russia now? And does it make sense?

Mail & yandex have it, but I didn’t understand whether they work exactly how AWS works or not, and the same mail DC only has Peter Moscow, it seems that the meaning of Clouds is completely lost, it’s already like a regular VPS.

And does it make sense?
I looked at the giants here, they all seem to be sitting in one place, without a cloud, many even in Europe.
Someone gives some of the content through Russian CDNs.

What do you think about Europe , the ping is higher, but for the web it doesn’t seem to matter at all, the server itself plays a decisive role, Holland, France, it instantly opens there.

There is. For example, Yandex has three DCs.
MCS seems to have the same, but I'm not sure.
Sense in several DTs (in an ideal - three) in reservation.
Recently, a French browser game developer moved into the “already doing backups” group after they lost all data for the European region due to a fire.
But the very fact of several DCs does not guarantee reliability, because you need to be able to use it.
DCs in Russia are mainly needed to comply with any laws on PD.
not exactly how AWS work or not,

Yes, like AWS. All 1-in-1

Yandex has 3 DCs in different parts of Moscow and the Moscow region.
Mail has 2 business centers in Moscow.
Is there any reason? Yes.
1) a hoster in a rashka will help in solving problems with 152 fz
2) mail gives 1 Gbit unlimited
3) Yandex and mail gives good hardware. How about honestly.
4) the cost of infrastructure is cheaper than in foreign AVS, Google, Alibaba, microsoftware and other rubbish
There is a sense in several DCs. At least for fault tolerance, data safety and load distribution.
