Are there modern non-widescreen laptops?
with matte screen, resolution 1024x768, 1280x1024, etc…
with 12-13 inch screen size, normal battery life.
I realized that I grew out of the netbook format while traveling - I'm looking for a replacement.

On tablets longer - that's right. You turned it, it became "higher". Although, if you take, say, the iPad, it is almost square.

The fact that the device is either overly wide, or with a lack of screen height. These extra 342 points make up about 30 percent of the 1024 screen
