Are there many cases of successful Internet services and products without investors?

Hello!
I am a web developer.
I want to invest in some interesting project that does not require significant investments (for example, a toy, another cms/crm). One where I can apply my knowledge and finances to the maximum and that will bring passive income. And I have a strong feeling that I won't be able to find investors for this business (I want to do something specific)
Please leave (for motivation) examples of successful services/products that have shot only with modest developer funds.
Funds are available in the amount of $4000

I agree with Dima Kubitsky . With this approach, you do not need to deal with web development.
Passive income can only be from a project that has taken off, and for this, just writing down the code is not enough. And in order for it to take off - spend a lot of effort, time, your own funds, the funds of friends / relatives (if they believe in you and they have money).
Might be worth investing in other areas? You have approximately 240,000 ₽. This is quite enough to invest in short-term and medium-term securities from some state (the Russian Federation or the USA, for example). Unlike shares, they will definitely pay for them ... Well, in extreme cases - a depot in a bank.
I would not want what has been said to sound instructive, but ... You won’t be able to eat a fish and hang your legs. Either you spend a lot of time and energy, or you risk trusting money to others.
PS Alternatively, if you really want to be in a startup environment, become a private investor. You will definitely have enough money for 1 project. And if it takes off, you can have up to 20-30% of income. Basically, that's what it comes down to. Either you cut a project with someone, pour in money and either burn out or take off, in the case of just investing, you are in a slightly different position, but with the same risks.

startup and passive income are incompatible things, in startups you need to invest your strength, money, develop, fight for a client, fight competitors.
no passivity, and what kind of income are we talking about?
- there you always need to invest a lot more money than you can earn on initial pairs.
as we say in Russia - do not share the skin of an unkilled bear.
if you want passive income, buy one and rent it out)
