Can ping increase due to arp table overflow on one bridge?

2k poppies is /21 networks. It will slow down in principle due to the large broadcast domain.

Unless of course you stuffed everything into one L2 network.
All operations there go through the CPU.
Here at 1100 and younger, there are already 2000 host entries per port group.
As a result, you just need to inspect such things when buying or ask the managers / those who support the tick or somewhere else. :)
