I wanted to buy an LCD panel for home, saving a little by throwing out unnecessary functionality in the form of Ethernet, online services, tuners, sound, etc. - connect to PC. But I found only plasma solutions that are out of my needs partly in terms of power consumption.

Can you tell me if this market segment is really so scarce and / or narrowly focused, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

Instead of an “unnecessary” tuner, get an unnecessary compartment for an on-board computer, a tire for mounting into a wall, advanced ventilation, etc. It will work 24/7 for several years - everything will be fine with brightness and colors :)
