Are there electronic notepads that are also an input device?
I'm looking at the section of graphic tablets in the online store.
There are three types of devices:
- electronic notepads - cheap tablets that display a single color image of what you write (but something in the reviews they are used for children or notes)
- just tablets
- tablets with a full color screen for the price of a Boeing wing
I need to have the ability to quickly and conveniently sketch out formulas/diagrams on online whiteboards.
The third type of device is not suitable because of the price, the second - maybe I'm a krivoruk, I tried it with a designer friend, but I have it in all directions - I can't draw accurately enough without direct visual feedback.
Are there smart notepads that draw on their surface and send data to a computer?

There are special pens, you draw in a paper notebook with such a pen, and the pen digitizes the scribbles and sends them to the computer.

There are those who write on special paper such as Neo SmartPen N2, you have to buy or print.
It seems that there were still models that work without a receiver and without special paper, but I didn’t find it right off the bat.
A regular tablet (conditionally ipad) can be used as a "second monitor" - the image from the main monitor is duplicated on the tablet, while the tablet retains its drawing properties with a pen (a compatible pen with pressure sensitivity must be purchased separately). You can do this with an ipad, and a couple of years ago I saw a video of an illustrator doing the same with a Samsung tablet. Example article - link
Do not write off an ordinary graphics tablet, you need to get used to it for a week or two, then it is very easy and convenient (you always look at the screen, and you only move the pen on the tablet, i.e. you just need to break the reflex " I look where I draw)
