Are there comic use cases for data models?
I know there is a network, hierarchical, and relational data model, and each serves a specific purpose, but I'm interested in the other. Are there cases when, in fact, a completely inappropriate data model is used in a really large project, when it was possible to get by with that, but for some objective reasons they chose the model that was inappropriate for the purpose?
Thanks

Read about EAV - this is not exactly a comical case, I would say it is a case of deliberate use of an inappropriate data model.
