Are there chats for programmers?

I realized that it was not interesting to communicate with most of my acquaintances. It's like we're talking different languages. We have few common interests, they don’t understand when I talk about my “computer business”, I’m not interested in hearing where sushi is tastier and when the new sale starts ... I would like to talk to people who are closer in spirit and don’t stop listening to you as soon as you start talking about your plans to cheat something, about your favorite project that you pin your hopes on, etc.

PS: preferably in Russian.

I use twitter for this. Surprisingly, it is just simple IT people on Twitter that are somehow not enough. But they are gradually increasing. I correspond with them.
Actually , I already asked a question about IT tweeters on Habré.

IRC, Jabber-conferenece
Many programmers, admins and just those who have joined the Internet have been sitting in IRC for a long time. Servers, channels, warm lamp protocol…
Jabber conference is newer, but nevertheless on the same jabber.ru you can find conferences on different programming languages, and not only.
