Yes, there is, me. But he didn't quite come back. Just a toad strangled to buy a new MacBook. Bought an Asus ZenBook S for a quarter the price. At home, of course, there are a pack of poppies. I’m sorry, well, not really, although I’ll probably buy a new calamus after quarantine.
For: the keyboard backlight didn’t work, some problems with the kernel and bluetooth ... At the same time, in Linux, I had to go to oem-kernel (linux-oem). Yes, quite a noisy keyboard and touchpad.
As a result, saving 20k rubles is not entirely happy. So most likely I'll give the asus to the elder, or it will be like a replacement. And I’ll go after the quarantine for a new calamus!
PS. I don’t work in Windows, but it’s worth it just in case, because I came with a laptop!
Oh yes, I forgot. I'm a little more comfortable on Linux (i3wm) than on a Mac. Although, there is not enough auto-sync for all iPhones / Applets / Notebooks. Well, I got used to poppies for 15 years.
Windows 10 PRO license. Only games are installed and I decided to try the development. But even in this case, bluescreen is periodically caught with data loss. As a result, I decided that development on windows is a crash. Fonts and friezes also look ugly. There is no such thing on a poppy at all (I mainly use a hackintosh, periodically MBPRO).
For two years I sat on a macos (they gave me a service macbook). It doesn't pull back. According to my subjective feelings, Macos is more convenient for my Linux admin tasks than Windows, but less convenient than Linux. Had to top up. As for the interface, I did not feel any enthusiasm. In general, it depends on the tasks.
I know the case, a nayalnik, who hardly finds the start button on a Windows laptop, decided to follow the trend of fashion and ordered a macubuk. Naturally, things didn't work out, the cross closed applications on the other side and other "insurmountable" difficulties associated with breaking the usual pattern, eventually returned back :)) Naturally, this is not about an IT office.
