For example: My vk.com/batareyka account, which publishes all sorts of articles from the site about batteries. And in VK there is a user ID: 12345646 (Vasily), who asks the question #battery, etc.
A bot is attached to my account, which wools VK for #battery + #batterybuy, etc. And now he finds such Vasiliev and offers on Vasily's page or in a private message a link to my VK account (vk.com / battery).
