has anyone actually seen collections of bookmarks for browsers, in particular for chrome?
Classified by category, with popular resources. Thanks

in social bookmarking services (Diigo, delicious, ...) it is quite possible to look at the bookmark collection tags

Excuse me, but why? It's easier to find something with Google than to manage a collection of bookmarks - update, remove dead links, etc.

other collections are sometimes found in beaver-good. under FF there were similar plugins with a site that allowed you to share collections.

Delicious seems to be able to export bookmarks and share them with another user. You can do the same in any browser.
