If the broadcast is on a well-known protocol like RTMP or HLS, but ultimately you cannot prevent the recording. As soon as the content is physically on the user's machine, it is at his complete disposal. You can make things more difficult by using proprietary protocols - like our SLDP . You can also consider using DRM - an expensive thing, but it greatly increases the entry threshold for grabbers.
