Are there any tools that would make it a little easier to parse the code (CMS)?
This question may seem stupid to someone (which is quite justified).
I'm trying to understand the CMS code, it's very hard work, I'm moving very slowly, I often "stumble" and slow down a lot, some places remain incomprehensible, and so on.
Therefore, the following question arose: maybe someone has already stuffed bumps in this matter and knows some nuances, tools or techniques that would help or facilitate this task?

Documentation and community.
If the code is highly abstract, then it makes sense to first understand the business processes that it implements (hardly applies to tsms)
If the code implements some patterns, then it may be useful to first understand the essence of the pattern before dealing with its specific implementation (also not a fact, which is often found in the CMS).
Well, purely theoretically, if the project is already very huge, it might make sense to understand the philosophy and style of the developers to begin with. But this is already from the field of philosophy and psychology, rather.
In general, stumbling, slowing down and not understanding right away is normal when parsing someone else's code. Especially if these are not popular, open, tested solutions.
