Are there any services with a database of football teams and matches?

Good afternoon!
I'm looking for the very one... a database that can satisfy all my fantasies..
At the moment, I would like it to have teams and the matches they played. I know that such an ideal is unlikely to be, so I'm ready to try to create one.
Maybe there are some prerequisites for such creation? Maybe at least a database with commands? Or maybe an API?
PS. Preferably free :)
