The main problem with LO is its imperfect compatibility with MSO.
The main advantage of LO is that you don't have to buy it. You can stupidly put it and see in practice whether there are unsolvable problems with it or whether they can be fixed. But you still have to do it...

It all depends on the tasks and volumes, if you print a couple of counters and documents, then there are no problems
. And if there are complex multi-page excel documents with formulas and other bells and whistles, there may be problems.
it is even more fun when such documents are sent by clients, and you have to work with them.

If you immediately transfer your entire office to Libre and set the internal "native" file format (odt, etc.) as a corporate standard, then there will be no problems - Libre is quite polished and straightened. Even the problem with a too long start was solved in the 5th version (although, of course, even Libre 5.0 starts a little longer than MS Office). Moreover, there are also practical examples of the success of such a transition: not so long ago, the mayor's office of some large German city was transferred to Libre, which saved a lot of money.
Installing Libr not globally, but for individual users is an amateur, although I know examples when someone can’t stand the MS Office ribbon interface, and the vintage look of Libr (even the 5th one) is just right for him.
As for incompatibility - for me, the coolest case of it is when you copy a web page and paste it into a document. The appearance of such a document is completely different in MS Office, WPS Office and Libre Office. Personally, because of this, I had to install all three for myself, and choose where it would turn out better.
