Are there any problems with Frontend development for Linux?

I want to switch to Ubuntu 20.04, but I'm afraid that there may be some problems with the software, especially since some programs such as PhotoShop or WebStorm (I'll have to pirate it), of course I know about Wine, but it seems like it's a virtual machine and will devour additional resources, which I didn't want to would. I want to hear from other Frontend, and indeed in Web developers who sit on Linux, are there any pitfalls? I used to be on Ubuntu, but now I'm hit with nostalgia for Linux :) Thanks in advance.

There is. Fonts are almost always impossible to properly customize. More specifically rendering.
And we have 90% of users are Windows.
Wine is not a virtual machine.

Switch to mac or windows. This will at least allow you to be in the shoes of the majority and see those jambs that your users have. And so put wsl2 and twist what you need on Windows. IMHO

Wine is not a virtual machine. This is an adapter to system calls.
If you are simply tormented by nostalgia - well, install a virtual machine with linux :) Breaking a working tool just for nothing is not the best idea...

What kind of nonsense? Photoshop is needed not for the front-end, but for designers.
WebStorm (like all other IDEs based on IntelliJ IDEA) - works exactly the same under Vyn, Lin and Mac. By the way, it is not necessary to pirate it, the license assumes use on any OS that you like best. Changing a normal IDE to Microsoft's uber-notepad, leaving Windows is a complete game ...
