Are there any pitfalls in this way of naming files?
Hi, I saw a way to name files with the addition of a modifier (if I don't confuse the terms) through a dot.
user.store-module.js
, User.controller.module.js
and in this spirit, I think the point is clear. It seemed that this method is much more readable than UserControllerModule.js, because the eye focuses on the main part of the file name, its namespace recedes into the background.
I haven’t seen anything like this before (apart from webpack.config.js, vue.config.js, they were just taken for granted), is there any agreement on using this way of naming files, are there any pitfalls, for example, when using on different systems?

In the olden days, when email trojans were in trend, these trojans in attachments were given names like
Главному_бухгалтеру.doc .exe
There shouldn't be any problems at all, but as for me, it's better not to use dots in the name.
