Are there any differences in setting up an OpenVPN client when using openssl and polarssl?

Hello! I have a TP-Link3420 router. I built the OpenWRT firmware for it using ImageBuilder. I really needed to shove OpenVPN into the firmware, but openssl did not fit. So I installed polarssl instead.
Question - will there be differences in setting up OpenVPN on a router with polarssl as opposed to openssl? Or is it almost the same and there are no differences in setting up the OpenVPN client (my router)?
