Are there any classes/methods to change the URL path in the browser not manually, but programmatically?

For example, initially the URL path was http://localhost:xxxx/ , then I manually changed it to http://localhost:xxxx/home and some logic worked. But I want that I do not manually change the URL path, but some class / method that can change and access the path does it for me. Tell me, please, something, otherwise I can’t find it on the Internet, because everything is bad with the “technical language”.
