Are there any big downsides to sending emails from your VPS?
Let's say I have email lists of my subscribers. Let it be 10-20 thousand. And once or twice a week I send them something.
And I have postfix on my server.
Will I use it for mailing, will there be any technical pitfalls? What are the nuances?

Yes, none, except that after the first mailing it will be in all blacklists :)
Vps should not be in bl. Well, follow the rules https://4admin.info/how-to-do-mailing-correctly/
It will not work - the mailing list will simply fall into the blacklists and it will be difficult to get it out of there in the future. Mailing via VPS needs to be configured, which is time-consuming and costly. If interested, the UniSender blog has an article about it: https://www.unisender.com/en/blog/sovety/besplatna...
