Are there analogues of Hyper Backup for Debian\Ubuntu?

Hello. There is a task to organize backup in the small organization. Under this business there is an old system unit on Celeron\2Gb RAM\2HDD - in general, it is enough. Conditionally, it will be a server. It is required to copy information from five computers, while it should be possible to easily and without problems pull out of a backup several days old. The reasons for this requirement are simple - they already caught the ransomware on one of the computers, on the other they deleted important files by the trash, which could not be fully restored. In general, you need the ability to rollback. Previously, I drew a diagram like this: Xpenology DSM 6 is installed on the server (it is installed and works, I checked), HDDs work separately in Basic mode, i.e. no RAID. An application from Synology - Cloud Station Backup is installed on client computers, and a permanent backup of the necessary directories is configured in the background on the HDD 1 of the server, i.e., thus, the information from all computers is constantly kept up to date on the server. But this will not save you from the same encryptor, as well as from local deletion of files on the client computer, because all changes will simply be written to the server. Therefore, at night, the Hyper Backup application is launched on the server according to the schedule, which backups from HDD 1 to HDD 2, and Hyper Backup does not backup files as they are, but maintains an incremental (or differential?) backup in its own format, writes changes from the previous backup Scheduled. Thus, you can go back a couple of days and restore, for example, files from versions that were not chewed by the ransomware. And for restoring from such backups, there is a desktop application (developed by Synology) Hyper Backup Explorer, and for Windows, Linux and Mac OS. You can, of course, restore from the server itself, the interface is still the same mouse-oriented. And this is very good, because. the backup should be able to restore easily and simply any office aunt, far from the Linux terminal, etc., tk. the constant presence of a serving IT specialist is not expected. And, it would seem, everything is not bad, and you can stop there, but the possible stability of Xpenology in the absence of maintenance raises questions. Nevertheless, this is not an official DSM, you can’t just take it and update it automatically, it may not boot. Accordingly, I would like to implement a similar scheme using the same Debian or Ubuntu Server, because sufficient stability,
